Hi, I am a second degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon do. My original studio was great,and i liked it very much. In the last few years though,a new grandmaster took over,and it was very below what i wanted.it turned into a belt mill babysitter club.everybody passed tests no matter what,yearly contracts, "black belt club" ect. I quit for 1 year and now i joined a new dojo. This one was much better in my opinion. I learned more in a month than i could ask for. The problem though was that they lacked in many, many things. One, There was no self defense,grappling,ground fighting,or anything. The only thing they taught was tournament fighting. Also, they taught nothing in punching. I know a good school should teach all of this and more. Also,my new studio wanted me to pay $129 a month and we have to sign a yearly contract or we cant go. The new studio is also only about 5 years old,and there is only one other black belt,a 1st degree. My goal is to be the best possible fighter i can be,and i really would do anything to achieve this. Even if your not sexually active you can still get these from sharing razors and only very very very rarely from toilets. If you do feel uncomfortable it is normal but your help may be at risk so talk to your parents and go to a doctor because these things can be cured.

Day 42 of cycle, no PMS symptoms (PCOS)?

Hi all, Apparently I have very, very mild PCOS and have had it for years. My periods were only regular at one point in my life coming every 28-30 days. For the last 3 years, prob due to an array of small factors, my period seems to come anywhere between every 38-43 days. The thing is, I usually have PMS symptoms at least a week before. Right now I am on day 42 and really can't say I have any PMS symptoms. This is pretty late in my cycle, so I would probably have them by now. Has anyone else experienced this? I need help for my daughter, she is being accused by her neighbour of making a lot of noise, loud music and so on, these complaints are completely unfounded and untrue. Can my landlord legally do this?

I am currently renting a property and my lease does not expire until July 1. I gave my landlord notice that I would be moving when my lease expired. Without telling me, he listed the property for sale and the real estate agent came and put a real estate lock box on my front door so she could access the condo for showings. Nothing in my lease states that I have to allow the real estate agent access for showings, and I am very upset that I was not consulted about this. People think its impractical to learn anything else. At one time you were laughed at for practicing Karate. GSP and Bas Rotten were the only famous guys who practiced it. Now that Machida has made it more famous people consider it to be practical. Taekwondo is another martial art that is belittled but guys like Anderson Silva, Ben Henderson and Anthony Pettis have black belts and one day more taekwondo practitioners will come out and people will take taekwondo seriously. The same thing can be said about Kung fu practitioners and Silicon practitioners. It takes guys that can adapt a style to MMA in order for people to consider it to be "practical. Before people thought those Crane kicks and front kicks used by Machida and Silva were impractical but they proved people wrong and one day other techniques will make the other martial arts "practical".

I train in mixed martial arts and I am a huge fan of the sport, so I'm an MMA guy first. With that said I also grew up watching boxing and I love it as well as mma, I'm a fan of both sports. So my question is why don't people think they can co-exist? For all the boxing fans who say that mma is stupid and ' homosexual ' , its not. You can't really understand how difficult the sport is untill you try it. Having to deal with punches, kicks, knees, and elbows as well as clinching, wrestling, submissions and your overall ground game is not easy. Why is my new RAID Setup so slow ?

I don't know about raid on ATA so I'm assuming you have SATA drives. do you know if the drives are SATA I, II, etc? One is only 5400 RPM which is pretty darn slow, and they're laptop drives. How can I get my father to stop calling me a ****** and threatening to kick me out?

I'm 17 and basically my dad has hated me my whole life. BJJ grappling question?

I am 150 lbs and I have so much trouble with guys who are about 200 lbs and over. We can be in the same belt rank but they just are way too strong. Is this normal? I just want to make sure that it really is a huge difference. It's killing me because guys in my rank aren't so difficult and I can beat them most of the time. These guys that way at least 50 lbs heavier than I are just incredible.

I am 13 years old and me and my friend often have little play fights for fun, and he always beats me as he is a lot stronger and faster than me, and he puts a lot more force into the fight. We never punch or kick, it is mainly just grappling and twisting, which he is much better at than me. When ground grappling, my chest is very...?

Weak it seems. I begun actual mma style ground game about two years ago, with the belief that I have a weak sternum. Whenever I'm chest to chest (on bottom or opponent has side control) the middle of my chest just hurts bad. I can suck it up typically, but I find if my opponents knew - they could take advantage very easily forcing there weight to my chest. It never hurts after the match or even after we switch positions. The deeper of a breath I take, the less it hurts. (though in situations ive actually felt like tapping). Im 18, 5'10 and 145lbs. Not ripped, or even muscular. As my bench press has gone up, my pain tolerance to it has gone down. Really, really frustrating as you can imagine. Also note, theres nothing else that irritates my chest, it doesnt feel tight or anything stretching. Thanks for any ideas of why / what to do to help

My husband and I are starting to think about next year's vacation. We would like to go sometime in May. WTF Taekwondo for MMA?

It can be OK, but that particular system will generally not give you good punching, punch defense, leg kick defense, or clinch fighting skills. It's certainly better than nothing, though. If it's the only thing you have available, go take it up and learn the basics of striking. It should give you pretty good footwork and fast, somewhat unpredictable kicks. If you can keep the standing fight at a distance, you could really use that skill. Still, I'd supplement it with boxing or Muay Thai at the earliest possible time.

Sternum pain from grappling?

From my grappling classes and open mat, I get some sternum pain after I have been thrown and landed on too much. I also feel it in my lower ribs. When I say pain, I mean it hurts when pressure is put on it (rib cage and sternum) and if I sneeze or cough. Ok I am 16 years old (male). I am not really big, but I work out alot and stay in shape. I am pretty ripped up, and I am very strong for my size. I am in the 11th grade. I know i could take this guy pretty easily, but if I have to fight him, he will probably get his bro and all his bros friends to try to fight me. Im not sure if this will turn into a fight or not, or if it was just an exchange of words or what it was. But I dont care to fight the 15 year old but his brother is like 19 or 20 and his bros friends will probably jump in. I cant run away and I cant tell on them because I will not get a rep like that. Stealthy radio controlled lobster trap?

The waters around long island ny are loaded with lobsters, To catch them the lobster trap has to sit on the bottom at least over night.Commercial lobster men use personalized floats ,witch everybody knows you damn well do not touch period.However when the lobster pirates see a non commercial float there pulling it up every time. How to get into mma as a beginner?

i started mma a couple weeks ago to try and improve my grappling and ground work etc, but i'm finding it a bit hard to keep up with the class. the instructor demonstrates a series of moves (a reverse guillotine for example) and then we pair up and have to do it. i find it pretty hard to remember what to do because its all pretty new to me and the instructor is usually too busy to help me out. i assume i'll get it in the end but is there any way i can practice the moves outside the class so i'm a bit more prepared when it comes to it? i'm up for trying anything really i just want to learn the specific movements.

Well, I was stuck so I went back in the back in the batcave all the way to the sewer sysetem's overhang and glided off to a grass beam where I pulled a ventilation shaft off the wall to find I couldn't get escape so I went back through the shaft and tried to grapple back to the overhang. The mana ratio seems a little low, you should really have 24-25 lands in a deck (for the first deck that is), the 2nd deck seems to have a good number of lands. One thing you should be aware of is that while the first deck is tournament legal, the 2nd one is definitely not. Another issue I see with this deck is that you have a lot of singular cards. For a deck to be good you need to have 4 of each card not just 1.

I'm extremely fast,strong and I'm a pretty good grappler for someone who doesn't come from a grappling background I have great takedowns,takedown defense,submissions from the top, I've enter tournaments and I do fairly well.I can take a lot of punishment and I have a lot of power in my hands.Now as far as weakness go even though I have power in my hands I'm not a great striker when it comes to the technical stuff that's how i know I can take a lot of punishment because I've taken my far share of beatings on the feet LOL.Also even though I'm a good grappler from the top not so much from the bottom and that's why my takedown defense is so good because I suck off my back so I train takedown defense extra hard.Also the other thing is my cardio is not great because I have asthma even though most can't tell because I have big muscles but that actually makes it worst because it takes a lot of oxygen to maintain big muscles so it makes my cardio worst.
