Roughly how long would a dictionary attack take?

I am an author writing a secret agent story at a point where they have to access protected content. They need to enter a password. Roughly, how long would a dictioary attack take to guess the password using like a govt level supercomputer or something of that nature? Any answers would be appreciated!
